ACU men trounce Western New Mexico, 113-81 PHOENIX, Ariz—Abilene Christian University won its 10th game of the season without a loss and moved into the championship game of the ‘Lopes Christmas Invitational with a 113-81 win over Western New Mexico University Monday night.
The Wildcats will play either host Grand Canyon University or New Hampshire College at 9 p.m. CST today. The Wildcats were never challenged as they forced 38 turnovers and shot 50 percent from the field while also connecting on 10 of 16 3-point attempts. Michael Obudho’s 18 points paced six Wildcats in double digits. Jared Mosley added 16, Dante Rabb scored 15, Peter Kiganya had 14, Charles Jackson finished with 13 and Alex Aluga chipped in 11.
